Michael Cimpher holds an MA from the London Film School. Soon after graduating, he began a decade-long career in broadcast documentary and unscripted television—working across America as a director of photography, shooting producer, and camera operator for local and international productions.

Originally from the Boston area, he now lives in New York with his wife and two dogs.
